Tax-included price labels (GST and QST)
Krealo Labels can print the tax-included price instead of Shopify’s price. You enter a rate (14.975% by default, Quebec’s GST and QST), then choose: every product, or only those carrying certain Shopify tags. The price, the compare-at price and the savings are computed together, and a “Taxes included” line shows on templates that have one.

How it is set up
- Settings › Prices and taxes: a rate in %, then “show all prices with taxes included” or a list of Shopify tags (e.g. tax_promo).
- A switch turns the rule off without losing the rate or the tags: handy when a promotion ends.
- Price, compare-at price and savings use the same factor, so the gap shown stays consistent.
What the label shows
- A “Taxes included” line (“Taxes incluses” in French) on templates that have it, like Classique électro and Fiche électroménager.
- Amounts are rounded to the cent, like every printed price.
Honest limits
- One rate per workspace: Krealo Labels does not pick a province or print GST and QST separately.
- In “by tags” mode only tagged products switch to tax-included; the others keep Shopify’s price.
- It is not a tax calculator: your register and Shopify do not change, and you remain responsible for the rate shown.
Frequently asked questions
Which rate should I use for Quebec?
The default is 14.975% (GST 5% + QST 9.975%). It is a free number in Settings › Prices and taxes, so you can enter another one.
Can I show taxes only on some products?
Yes. Instead of “show all prices with taxes included”, list Shopify tags separated by commas: only products carrying one of them switch to tax-included.
Do the compare-at price and the savings follow?
Yes. Price, compare-at price and savings use the same rate, so the gap on the label stays accurate.
How do I stop showing taxes after a promotion?
Turn off the “Tax-included prices on” switch. No label shows taxes any more, but the rate and the tags stay saved for next time.
Does Krealo Labels calculate the taxes on my sales?
No. It only prints the tax-included price on the label; billing, your register and Shopify’s taxes do not change.
